'Casino Rescue Squad members worked closely with paramedics to free the patient. 'After approximately 45 mins the patient was released and taken to hospital in a stable condition. Phil was a foundation member of the VRA Gulgong in 1989 and then moved to Casino where he joined the VRA Casino Rescue Squad. He has served diligently ever since, filling in as treasurer, volunteering for events at the local show, bringing in and mentoring new members and embracing change. Brian was the active captain of the Casino Rescue Squad when he passed away on Thursday, April 12, at Lismore Base Hospital. The youngest of four siblings, he is survived by his wife Daphne, two children Alan and Katie and his grandchildren, Audrey and Harry.
